MaxKnowledge Announces New Portfolio Management Software to Automate Individual Development Plans
Irvine, CA, August 10, 2009 - MaxKnowledge is pleased to announce the availability of an online portfolio management software to automate the Individual Development Plan (IDP) process for career college faculty.
The IDP software is a new integrated feature of the Faculty Development Program at the Center for Excellence in Education (CEE), the most comprehensive employee development initiative in the career college sector formed by MaxKnowledge and the Imagine America Foundation.
The IDP software captures the participant's journey through the CEE Faculty Development Program and can also be used to record developmental activities completed outside of the CEE program. The software serves as a platform for instructors and their coaches to collaborate on identified performance-based outcomes and links instructor training directly to each participant's individual development goals.
"The IDP software is a turnkey portfolio management system that provides the opportunity for an instructor to identify performance goals, plan developmental activities, and create a personalized action plan", said Jay Hollowell, MaxKnowledge Vice President & Training Manager. "This online action plan then follows each instructor through the program and serves as a basis for an ongoing record of completed activities leading to goal accomplishment."
"The creation of the IDP software took two years of research and development work", said Sam Ariabod, MaxKnowledge Vice President & Managing Director. "We developed the software based on best practices to link training to performance and assessing accomplished goals and outcomes."
The IDP software incorporates the professional development plan requirements of the national accrediting agencies and includes a customizable export function to output completed forms (in standard PDF format) for submission to accrediting agencies.
"We are very excited about this unique product as we continue our efforts to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of career colleges and schools," said Dr. Amir Moghadam, MaxKnowledge President/CEO.
